Meet the Maker

Hi and welcome to Kila Cutlery! My name is Belinda and I make and design all the cutlery you see in this store. 

I have been hand making and crafting a variety of bespoke products, as gifts, for family and friends for many years. I was fortunate to be raised and surrounded by a Mom who was an amazing seamstress and crafter, an Aunt who is a talented Artist and Grannies who were makers, sewers,amazing cooks and all-round doers.  I describe myself as someone who started crafting because I suck at art. 

Being a part of a large and close-knit family, meant that any gathering was always an occasion with good food and wine as standard.  Kila Cutlery was born out of a philosophy that everyday items can be functional and beautiful, no matter if you are having a party for one or a party for 20. 

I love making and using the products and hope you enjoy using them too.

All the products are handmade in Australia by me with custom porcelain beads and seed beads.
